Every year, around July, something starts to feel different at our Kung-Fu school. Students seem to be more focused; Teachers start talking about discipline and practice more than usual; everyone stays after class to get in more individual practice; people reflect on the past few months and look at their newly acquired techniques, specialties, weaknesses and strengths.


By September, everyone already knows what they will be exhibiting at the annual demo, and everyone who planned to show a certain break has already proved that they can do it well. Ideas start coming together, weapons techniques perfected, and sparring practice focuses even more.

October brings a new air of excitement to the school, and official demo rehearsals start. Plans come together, times are checked and final decisions are made as far as what stays and what is going to have to wait till next year.

This year will mark the 42nd anniversary of our school, and we’ll be delighted if you can join us in celebration. Here are the details:
